This is an amazing story. Didn’t think I would love it but I got hooked on the first chapter and couldn’t stop reading it. Thank you for translating this title, can’t wait for the next chapter.

omggg this is SO good. it makes me want to go back and read moby dick, the way it so evocatively paints a picture of victorian england and sailing life. it doesn’t shy away from showing the bleak realities of that time, but it also infuses it with such hope and beauty… MAN i’m so glad the mangaka decided to make this story. also thank y’all so much for picking up this work and scanlating it. big props!

I can;t wait for the new chapter! I have great interest when I see vol 1 cover,
and when I tried to read it, damn! It's so new, so great (art and story-wise), so feels, and such characters <3 I do like the development between Monica, Evan, Louis, Neal, and everyone else.
Especially how they're connected to the "Cradle". The plot is new so it's refreshing,
and the art totally brings you to "move from one spot to another spot" thingy (idk how to explain).
I was so happy to see on May update that Umi no Cradle ch19 is CLEANED/TRANSLATED
Please please please don't drop this great manga (TT^TT)

I just found the manga and read up to the latest chapter (20). And wooooow, what a great manga! Thank you so much for translating it 🙂 I hope my country (Germany) picks it up for translation too so I can get my hands on these 4 volumes.
